Alot of Users can’t update their profiles, and alot more can’t get their background image to save/upload/stick. If you’re one of them, try this Quick Twitter Tip that has worked for several accounts I’ve been having problems with.

  1. Go to: Settings > Design > Change background image
  2. Choose your new background image file, but don’t press “Save Changes” (yet)
  3. Swap over to the “Change design colors” tab
  4. Make a change to one of the design settings (even if it’s just retyping the same colour code in the box)
  5. Then click “Save changes” from the Design Settings page

Strange I know. But this has proved successful on at least 5 accounts that are effected by the Twitter BackGround Bug.
