Alejandro Valverde Banned for 2 years
Monday, May 11th, 2009The ongoing battle of Valverde V’s CONI was ruled upon today, with the Italian anti-doping agency banning Alejandra for 2 years. It’s an Italy-only ban (at this stage), but with the 2009 Tour de France passing onto Italian soil, that means Valverde won’t be pinning a start number on this year. Unless the case gets over-ruled.
